Colm Connolly '82: His StoryA Hallmark movie on TV entitiled, "Never Let Her Go," is the true story of a high-profile Delaware murder case.Assistant U. S. Attorney Colm Connolly helped prosecuted and convict prominent Wilmington attorney Thomas Capano for killing Anne Marie Fahey, an aide to Delaware's governor. Colm was a consultant for the movie - his name is all over the place as both a character and in the credits as the consultant. The story also was turned into a best selling novel by Ann Rule. The two part miniseries is based on Rule's book. Kathryn Morris (The Contender), plays Anne Marie, the disturbed, anorexic and vulnerable victim of Tom's dubious charms. He's played by a Mark Harmon you'll hardly recognize, with a soft voice (sometimes so soft you can hardly hear him) to hide his wily ways and sick rages. Steven Eckholdt plays as Assistant U.S. Attorney Colm Connoly, and Paul Michael Glaser is Wilmington police detective Frank Gugliatta, the investigators who solve the case.
