Alix Burrell ('83)

Class of '83 seems like just a few years back! I am still a banker.   Not exactly what I had in mind when I started out but I am too shallow to give it up and do something meaningful!  Once I am REALLY rich, I will give it all up and get spiritual.  After leaving London in 1993 I transferred with my job to Hong Kong to work for Citibank's project finance team.  I only lasted a year before ego and greed got the better of me and I moved to Chase Manhattan to work in oil and gas project finance.  Overall, I did quite a lot of business travel to Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

I even survived an ugly merger with Chemical Bank where I had to re-interview for my own job.  Then in 1998, I managed to move job, move country, move house and get engaged all in one go.

Aftab Ahmad ('82)

They have a five year old son and a two year old daughter with a third one on its way for March 2000.  Aftab desperately needed a Y2K kid, just for the kicks.  St. Louis is also home to my sister Rumana (class of '80) and her husband Zia
Mahmood (class of '79). They have three kids.

Matti got married! His wife Lida is from Minsk, Belarus. They had an orthodox Russian wedding in Germany in July 1999. They live in Duesseldorf where Matti works for 3M. email: mkahl@mmm.com

Greg Murray ('81)

Greg still works for Chase Manhattan in NYC. He and his wife Michele have a son David and they live in Convent Station, New Jersey. Gringo's job lets him travel to the Philippines once in a while. Email Greg: mgm9995@aol.com

John Stefani ('82) John lives in Brooklyn and works for Citicorp. He and his wife Michele had a daughter in March 1999 which they named Jillian .

Monti Samuel ('89)

Monti and husband Allan had a baby in the summer of 1999. Nicholas Samuel Beaulieu was born 9:09 AM June 4, 1999.  7lb 12oz, 19.5 inches. Kicking and screaming right from the start. Just in time for the San Jose reunion. Here's more about Monti.
