School Book Drive

Hello everyone!

Vicky Sycip Herrera '68 and Susie McElhaney '82 are collecting books for public elementary schools in Tagaytay.

The schools need books written in English! Schools all over the Philippines are embarking on a program to teach English.

The schools have set aside time in the day for students to read books in English. However, there are few English language books available.

Our goal is to build a collection of books for each school. Any help you can give will be very welcome!

UPDATE: Due to your generosity, the book drive has grown tremendously! To date, we have collected close to 4,000 books! The first 1,000 are in the process of being shipped and the others will follow.
