VIDEO WITH ALUMNI - FICTION

Apocalypse Now is probably the most famous movie filmed in the Philippines. Many alums took part as extras - try to spot one! Or see spots like Pagsanjan Falls and watch Ifugaos playing Cambodian tribesmen hacking a carabao. Trivia: apparently Martin Sheen had a heart attack while filming in the Philippines. Platoon put Oliver Stone on the map. Another Vietnam film made entirely in the jungles of the Philippines - primarily Pagsanhan and Cavite.

Click here if you are curious which alums were in this classic war movie. Lots of great actors spent time in the Philippines during the shooting of this hard-edged war movie.

Former Charlie's Angel Cheryl Ladd and dozens of IS high school hunks from the eighties are in Purple Hearts, a love story set during the Vietnam war.

Click here if you are curious which of your old classmates from the eighties are in this movie? Or watch it just to see how many filipino things you can recognize!

The Boys in Company C is yet another Vietnam war movie filmed in the Philippines, this time back in 1977.

This is an action film about five young Marines and how their lives were changed by duty in the Vietnam war.

Missing in Action is an action classic Vietnam flick starring Chuck Norris which spawned two sequels and many imitations.

Shot in Cavite, Pagsanhan and Luneta.
Delta Force 2 is an action flick starring Chuck Norris. The Philippines doubles as South America here.

Simple plot: good guys get kidnapped by lunatic, Delta Force comes to the rescue! Some alums got to play extras again.
